Toxins
A urine test mostly records the last day or two
The chemicals on his panel are breakdown products that the body clears within hours. After a test dose of the plastic softener DEHP, its breakdown product peaked in urine at two hours and had a half-life of about five hours.Source 17 · Clinical trialDi(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) metabolites in human urine and serum after a single oral dose of deuterium-labelled DEHPKoch HM, Bolt HM, Angerer J. The blood draw may have come before his first session
The one-particle result came in a report dated May 25, 2025, less than three weeks into the sauna habit. In late June 2025 he ran 15 sessions without the groin ice pack on purpose. By July 8 the share of his sperm that could swim had fallen from 53% to 23%. What the calendar shows
His ice test shows what a strong one-person trial looks like
Most of his results compare one sample before a change with one sample after it, with other treatments running alongside. One person, done right
Five changes would turn his sauna log into an n-of-1 trial

Change 2
Hold the other treatments still

Change 3

We built the calendar from his own posts
Every date and value comes from Johnson's posts on X, his Blueprint blog and his Substack, read in September 2026. Where he gave only a month, the point goes at mid-month. Hollow points mark dates we worked out from his descriptions, such as a sample he labeled four weeks after the no-ice sessions.
The urine values are his lab's figures for NAPR in micrograms per gram of creatinine. The blood microplastics reports turn a particle count into a concentration by assuming a sample of a tenth of a milliliter. His June 2025 post described the October result as 15 particles, which doesn't match that conversion.Source 7 · Web pagePost saying he cut the microplastics in his blood by 93%Johnson B.
